Not authorized: You do not have access to this server

Server Version#: Latest plexinc/pms-docker docker image
Player Version#: N/A

I am trying to install the official Plex Media Server docker image on Unraid. I had previously had it set up, but had to reinstall. I create a claim token at plex.tv/claim, enter it into the PLEX_CLAIM field but when I try to view the server at x.x.x.x:32400/web, I get the error message:
Not authorized: You do not have access to this server
I have attached a picture of the error.
Any thoughts?
Harry

Still waiting for a response, any help is appreciated

Still no reply, would really appreciate some help.

@ChuckPa Do you have any idea about this?

Thanks

@HarryOMalley

I don’t know unraid but, even with the PLEX_CLAIM token in place, but fairly confident first contact must be from the same subnet or via SSH tunnel.

@chrisallen will probably know this better than I as he does use Unraid.

Yep, first contact is from the same subnet as I am accessing via it’s internal ip address. Weirdly the logs for the container shows that (when I pass the claim token) it does successfully claim the server. But when I try and access the setup page, it says I am not authorised. @chrisallen I am happy to provide logs if you need.

Hi @chrisallen & @ChuckPa please let me know if you have any idea about this.

hi @HarryOMalley can you please DM me your logs so I can see what is going on? Are you trying to access the server from the bundled app (by IP address) or the hosted app (https://app.plex.tv/desktop) ?

Make sure if you are using a non-pool device for your Plex Library that the device is mounted. This happened to me because I did not have the drive set to automount after a server restart. Hope this helps
