We have PMS (Version 1.10.1.4602) running on a macbook pro. Lots of memory and processor available, this is the only real work it’s doing and server loads are very low. Network connectivity is very strong.
Lets say we view 15min of a movie, then stop it and come back later and select play – and we choose to start watching at 15min. This will yield the spinning circle for an indefinite amount of time. So we start at the beginning and hit FF. If we hit it once or twice and do a slow FF it will work, but anything more than that it will freeze and barf with a disconnect.
I do the same thing with Enfuse on the apple Tv and it works like a champ every time. Same behavior on two apple TVs which have worked like a BOSS for years with the same wifi, same hardware, etc. Can anyone recommend how to troubleshoot this, or recommend a better client to run on the apple tv? Very frustrating.
