I am having some streaming issues lately, I have no idea what has caused it. I am no longer able to stream anything on iOS/Android/ xbox clients as well
The android deices/xbox are remotely and not connected to my physical network or connecting via a vpn. Streaming was possible previously with out failure including my iPhone when its operating on 4G
The plex Server is running on server hardware, with server 2019 installed as this series provides other service. I have done the following
- Confirmed windows is fully patched
- Tested streaming from phone with windows firewall off
- Tried installing older versions of plex server in hopes to fix this problem, how her has not helped
- Deleted entire Plex Media folder in app data and rescanned library again
- Only way I can get any media to play is if I connect to my local network using a VPN
- Play back is fine if phone is on home wifi
- All necessary ports are open, can telnet 32400 externally
- Removed any bandwidth restrictions in plex for playback
Server Specs
Intel Xeon E-2236 3.4 GHZ
32GB Ram
Not sure what else to do here. Can provide logs if required, just not sure what logs are needed
