Hi,
i am a lifetime plex pass owner. for the last 5 month i am having issues with my multimedia instalation.
The problem
No matter what player i use, even if i put the quality to 1,5Mbps /480p my TV is always buferring and on my android phone, i have a message constanly popping and saying “network to slow” or something similar. moreless 5 month searching for a solution. i am pretty desperate…
The instalation i have
i DONT have internet at home. So all my instalation is offline. All my PCs are running windows 10 64b with the lates updates.
My plan is to stream all my content to my room, living room ,guest room and android phones by lan or wifi without using internet.
My server is a PC with an intel core i7 2,67GHZ 12GB ram with 10 Tera harddisk Caviar red.
My server is connected to my router (Netgeat R7000) by lan and all other devices are connected by wifi.
On my room i have a HTPC with windows 10 64. On guest room i have a nuc with libreelec and i use a lot my android phone (android 9, 6 gb ram asus zenphone 5z) to watch movies. ALL of them have issues streaming.
the solutions i already tried
-Reinstalling all computers after formating.
-uninstalling all antivirus (even the one from windows) and turning off firewall.
-Making my conection as “private network”.
-I installed SMB windows service.
-Disabled Large Send Offload (LSO).
-Disabled TCP auto-tunning.
-Installing older Plex Server version.
-Activating DLNA on plex server.
-Making a manual IP static conection to server.
-Allowing ranges of ip on server configuration. and other server configuration.
I am sure i tried other things, but right now i cant remember.
The thing is that i have no idea if it´s a problem from my network configuration or Plex installation. I just want to watch my movies, and i had no idea when i buyed plex pass that i have to be a nuclear engineer to make it work.
additional info
when i am on my laptop and i try to send via wifi a movie to my server folder on server pc, the speed in maximum 1Mb if i am lucky. If i download a movie from my server to my laptop, the spped is maximum 12Mbps.
