I have been running plex for a couple of years with very few problems. I have recently changed my internet provider (virgin media superfast fibre 100mbps) and upgraded to new MacBook Pro and plex now runs so much slower it buffers when streaming to my LG smart tv (wired) and my PS4 (WiFi) friends that use it at there houses have had a few problems with streaming as well. All my library’s are stored on a hard drive plugged directly into my router which my MacBook mounts on start up. Any advice on what the problem could be or any settings I could change to help speed it up?
