In Android TV Plex app it is impossible to change audio stream “on the fly” (when film is playing) if video is being transcoded. Issue is reproducible on Xiaomi Mi Box and Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 (the only android TV boxed which I own). There is also no difference between local and remote play. Other players where I tested work as expected - audio stream is switching successfully (Windows desktop app, MacOS desktop app, android app, web app). Enabling/disabling audio passthrough does not affect the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start playing film, which includes more than one audio stream, with video transcoding enabled
- Seek to some place where there is a speech to surely recognize that correct audio stream is chosen
- Select another audio stream
- Verify that audio stream is switched successfully
Expected result
Audio stream is switched successfully. New stream is shown as selected. New stream is being played.
Actual result
Audio stream is switched unsuccessfully. New stream is shown as selected. But previous stream is still being played.
