Unable to use hardware transcode with AMD R9 270

Player Version#: Android 4.4.192-perf+

I just upgraded from 1.32.2.7002 to 1.32.5.7349, and transcoding stopped working. I discovered that disabling the “Use hardware-accelerated video encoding” fixed the problem.

This is with an AMD R9 270 on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS.

As far as I am aware, I was not using hardware encoding prior to the server update, so it really does not make a difference for me, so I’m not really looking for a resolution, but figured I should report the problem with logs from the device that had the problem.

Currently, Plex’s AMD support is SDR-only.
If you turn off “HDR” option, it’ll work again.

Is this the option for “Enable HDR tone mapping” on the server transcoder settings, or is it something else that I am missing?

If I disable that, and reenable Use hardware-accelerated video encoding I still have the same problem.
