Unable to work on a Thecus N2350?

I’ve entered PLEX on my TV only for it to tell me to install version 1.10+ instead of 1.5.5.3634dead. It tells me to manually install the update, yet it does not let me do so with ease.

I’ve tried manually installing every version i can, but it fails nonetheless. I have tried rebooting the NAS, uninstalling and reinstalling the application numerous times as well as trying to reinstall/update the program. I try to manually install the .app version only to be told that "
2018/12/13 12:51:44: App installation failed because can not find Protocol: [ N2350 ]"

I’m not sure how to proceed.

Is the Thecus running OS 6 or 7 ?
