I am having an issue with some movies saying “Unavailable” when I navigate to them. Every other movie in the same exact folder works flawlessly but when I click on several movies in this same exact folder, perfectly synced and everything, it says “Unavailable.”
I have not moved the file as the movie plays on my computer just fine, but when I use the app on my Apple TV 4k series 2 it says “Unavailable.”
In a browser, click the triple dot menu on one of these “unavailable” movies, and click Get Info. It should show the path to the movie (or multiple paths, if you have multiple copies). Double check that the path to these movies are actually available to Plex. If on Linux, check permissions.
Do a Scan Library Files on the library, see if Plex discovers the files’ real location. Empty Trash, in case Plex thinks the movie is in an old location after a recent file move or rename.
If this doesn’t help, let me know, and we can check a few other things. (Provide some more info, such as what platform/OS the server is on, and whether the media itself is local or on a separate computer like a NAS or something).
I did what you requested and noticed there were two files in the folder. I deleted them and added them back in the folder without the extra files and it is now working. Thank you for your help. That seemed to fix the issue
