Unexpected Error Viewing Downloads

Player Version#: 1.28.0.1681-cc6e807c

I have content synced to my laptop, and its been working as intended for a while. I just added a couple more pieces of content and now every time I click on the Downloads tab, and scroll to the bottom of the page I get the following message:

“There was an unexpected error”
“Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems”

When I close and relaunch the app, its fine again until I scroll to the bottom of the Download page again.

Should I attach logs? If so, just drop the whole zip I get from clicking “Download Logs?”

Any help would be great, thanks

When I installed this latest version, I appear to have a this issue also, but closing and re-opening the player does not resolve the issue.

Issue resolved by manually deleting downloaded music files and going into albums and removing them, Issue re-appeared when downloading an album which missed some files during sync.

Hey @mrrising sorry you’ve been slipping through the cracks.

It has the sound that the UI is running into an unexpected error when handling the download information. We would see this error in our log file.

If you can still reproduce the issue, will you please restart the app then cause the error? Afterwards Plex.log will have our answer.

  • Windows %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex\Logs\Plex.log
  • Mac ~/Library/Logs/Plex/Plex.log
