Unfortunately Plex has stopped

Device: LG GoogleTV G3
OS: Android 4.2.2
Plex: 4.29.1.7

Whenever I launch Plex I get “Unfortunately Plex has stopped” and I am forced to close the app. I’ve tried clearing out all data and cache. No help. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the Play Store. No help. This started about 3 days ago.

I’ve posted this on other forums with no response. Others have chimed in with the same problem. Trying now in PlexPass forum. Can someone help? Is this being addressed?

Probably to do with the super old version of Android but I have no idea.

Unfortunately it seems LG has thrown in the towel on GoogleTV and is has removed the “system update” option in my TV settings. I have no ability to update my android version.

Any Ninja’s/Experts have any ideas? I’m hoping not to resort to putting a box or stick on the TV to watch Plex.
