I’m new to Plex and recently setup a server to watch Live TV. I got everything setup and working, then noticed I didn’t have surround sound. I found out I need to use PMP for that, so installed it with audio pass through enabled. I tested a number of channels and everything seemed good, until I tried watching the FOX channel. Neither the desktop app nor PMP had any sound for FOX. I cannot get sound in PMP, but found in the desktop app the audio defaults to “Unknown (AC3 Stereo)”, but if I switch to “English (AC3 5.1) I get sound.
I am looking for assistance to get sound working in PMP and audio to default to a working option in the desktop so it does not have to be manually adjusted each time. I will upload any log files which will be helpful, I’m just sure which files they would be. Thank you for your assistance.
