I have been having a very strange issue the last month on my Unraid plex server, where I will loose access and plex will say no content available.
I will then check Plex and have SQlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB in the docker console log. Rebooting the container does not bring it back up and require a full system restart.
This does not happen every single day, and can go days without it happening and then boom locks up.
- So far I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- optimize database using plex gui
- running plex-dbrepair container
- restoring an old backup of my database from March 2026
- moved from hotio to linuxserver container
- disabled anything querying plex db e.g sonarr/radarr telling plex to scan for new content.
Currently I am running the following containers that “talk” to Plex
Kometa
Maintainerr (has been off for the last two weeks to see if that was causing issues) PlexAniSync
Posterizarr
radarr/sonarr
tautullii
tracearr
tdarr (which has also been off)
here is my docker container config (i do have a claim token but removed for the screenshot)
Here is a screenshot of the busy db error I will get, i have also attached my logs. I am not sure how to attach my databases as it says they are to large. 200mb is the zip downloaded from Plex. Any help would be appreciated, I have been pulling my hair out trying to fix this. And I’m at my wits end. Hopefully I have provided enough information.
