The plex docker container on my unraid server recognizes and wakes up the gpu from p8 idle state to p0 state for a few seconds but an error code appears and prevents transcoding. For some files typically lighter 1080p ones I can keep clicking on retry and eventually it will work as expected. However for 4k h.264 files will never start transcoding but they used to be able to fine first try.

The logs attached are from docker startup, trying to transcode a 1080p h.264 file, then stopping the container once of the error code appears.
Settings I have confirmed based on other forums.
- extra parameters - runtime nvidia
- NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES/NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES - set to gpu id/all
- installed nvidia driver/plugin - driver version 550.67
- in preferences.xml I have tried changing the HardwareDevicePath to “/dev/dri/card0” and HardwareDevicePath=“/dev/dri/card1” and HardwareDevicePath=“/dev/dri/nvidia0”
The only major thing changed in my unraid setup is the location of the docker container. I previously had it on my array mistakenly and installed from scratch onto the cache but unsure how that may affect things.
This is how it will show activity on my unraid dashboard for a few seconds before the error code pops up.
