Unused labels not being deleted

I have never been able to delete my unused labels which is frustrating because I use labels all the time.

  • I’m aware that optimising should remove them, but it doesn’t (for me).
  • I can confirm that the labels in question are not in use in any library.

Can anyone confirm where this does work and I’ve just not worked out how to do it or other this is a known problem that is (or is not) recognised?

Well it’s only been about 4 years but I finally managed to find the label.

For reference, it was in an audio library where you need to be viewing by album to view/add/remove labels. My default view is by author/artist where there is no label option so I had assumed the library couldn’t take labels at all.
