I often use the sync function to watch TV shows offline on my iPad. Unfortunatly I can't see how many unwatched episodes there are until I take a look in every season of every show.
It would be nice if the unwatched counter is displayed while showing only synced libraries.
I don't know if it is a bug or a missing feature.
