Update 1.15.1.791-8bec0f76c.x86_64 not appearing on CentOS

Current Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: 3.77.4

Logged into PMS web interface today and saw there was an update. SSHd into my server as usual and ran yum update plexmediaserver as I normally do, but nothing was marked as being available. Subsequently downloaded the latest .rpm file from the web directly to the server and tried to do an rpm -uvh upgrade, but got the following error about dependencies:

error: Failed dependencies:
libexslt.so.0()(64bit) is needed by (installed) nginx-mod-http-xslt-filter-1:1.12.2-2.el7.x86_64
libxslt.so.1()(64bit) is needed by (installed) nginx-mod-http-xslt-filter-1:1.12.2-2.el7.x86_64

Not sure what’s going on. Just a bad update day?

I would presume it has to be a bad update. I just updated to 1.15.1.791 along with a lot of other people and now other than the direct PC where I have the server no other tv, computer, or mobile device can access the remote server. When I check it it immediately goes from available to unreachable.

As the announcement states, auto-updates are turned off. Download and install if you want.

Uninstall the existing Plex package. It will release those dependencies which don’t belong.
I had to correct the packaging to turn off AutoProvides.

OK. I think I’ll just wait for the moment given @cheapsin’s comment.

Thanks for that. I rarely come to this forum, so I’ll follow that more closely moving forward.

I am running 793 on all my devices (all linux boxes and the NAS boxen)
