Update changed subtitles and now problems (please change back or give options)

Using SRT subtitles (all sync tested on pc and previous PMS versions)

Today I’ve updated my PMS to version 4.63.0.
I tried to watch a serie and I’ve noticed that the subs were very big.
So I changed it to small but something felt off. After some research I found that the new version is causing the following changes:

  1. The subtitles use a new FONT and this one is not better.

  2. The subtitles have bad subtitle/movie ratio (compared to previous version)

  3. The subtitles have thicker black bars.

  4. The subtitles are a little bit out of sync. (This is especially noticible on my LG OLD C9 with the latest app. and a little on my laptop.

Does anyone else see the changes and problems with the subtitles after the latest update?

UPD: After hours of trial and error testing I think I’ve found the problem. The LG WEBOS TV app has, in addition to slow and lag since the last tv appupdate, sub problems. I think the sizes have shifted. Normal is large etc. etc. and this is causing problems in its sync.

Agree that the new font (Courier) is just terrible. Please give us options to select the font to be used. If possible, also whether to have darkened backgrounds or not for the subtitles.

Edit: Server version was 1.25.0.5220. I had to downgrade to 1.24.5.5173 to avoid this eyesore.
