One of the features I’d like to see is an ability to set Plex Downloads to update to the latest file. When I update videos to higher quality or different audio/subtitle tracks, Plex does not automatically update the downloaded video on a device. I have to delete the existing download and setup a new download. This is cumbersome.
This is intentional. Downloads do not get updated. Downloads does not track how the file got downloaded (original or transcoded) so there is no way to know if the original has changed.
