https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/tags shows last update as 2 months ago.
Is there an ETA on when this will be updated to 1.15+?
Thanks.

Can’t you just use this https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/plex ?
Unfortunately not. I’m using Gooby which uses the official Plex Docker image.
Interestingly though, Plex appears to have detected an update:

Not sure how one goes about doing this in a Docker container…
Plex Media Player seems to give a slightly different message:
Normally you shouldn’t update anything inside a docker container.
From what I can see you can use whatever Docker container you want, including the one I linked.
Just follow this guide:
Thanks for the link - I hadn’t seen that page.
I’ll consider it, but as it took me a long time to get Plex setup, library imported/scanned (rclone/gdrive) I’ll hang fire for a while until I get the free time and urge to tinker.
Hopefully in the meantime, Plex will update the official one.
Thought I’d update in here since I’m also a Gooby user (although I may end up cross posting).
I was able to get my container to update by changing the image tag from latest to public. I did this from within Portainer, but I’m assuming any method will work. Once I had made this change, pulling the image and recreating the container automatically applied the update and I’m now on 1.15.2.793
Thanks @perplexity. Am I missing something on here?: https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/tags ? Public, latest, and 1.14.1.5488-cc260c476 tags all show last update as 2 months ago. Very odd!
From what I understand(?) from other threads and digging around trying to solve this myself, those dates pertain to the docker container itself, and not Plex which is the image loaded within the container.
However, because of the Plex repositories being out of sync currently because of the big change between 1.14 and 1.15 it’s possible that the latest tag is still pointing to 1.14 but public has been updated to 1.15?
I’m not sure exactly. Was just sharing what had worked for me in case it can help people that are still in the same boat.
Funny, had same problem. Using latest tag kept pulling an image with 1.14.x. Using the public tag indeed pulled the image with 1.15.y.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I use this version to get the Plex Pass version and it doesn’t seem to have been updated…
Finally updated: https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/tags
