"Update is available" should link to proper update channel

I'm on plexpass and got an update notification. Clicking it brought me to https://plex.tv/downloads, which is the update page for public downloads. A minor improvement would be to have it link me to https://plex.tv/downloads?channel=plexpass

PlexPass is beta builds, and I would hate for this to happen....

It should be up to the owner of the PMS, and should IMHO default to secure builds, just like it does now

I think you're confused what we're talking about here. There is already a setting to either get update notifications for the plexpass channel or to get update notifications for only the public channel. I'm just pointing out that if you choose to get update notifications for the plexpass channel, that notification should hyperlink you to the correct download

Enable that, and then take a look at the hyperlink the update notification provides you with. You'll notice that even if you switch Update Channel to PlexPass and get a notification that an update is available, the hyperlink in the notification still points to the public downloads page instead of pointing to the plexpass downloads page.

This behavior obviously makes no sense - if the user indicates they want the plexpass update channel and plex shows a notification that an update is available, why would it then not link to the correct download page
