Update local metadata

Hello everyone :wink:

I’ve been using PLEX for years, but now I have a bug that I can not solve
if a charitable soul can help me: slight_smile:

I redid my plex to zero
W 10 (1903)
PLex Version 1.16.5.1488
plugin> XBMCnfoMoviesImporter.bundle
movie management> Mediaelch> nfo + poster + fanart

I manage my movies manually and I import the library with the nfo plugin
I have a bug in the update of movies

  • nfo> KO
  • poster> KO
  • fanart> KO

I change, prioritize the agents etc … nothing
I’m forced to delete the library and recreate it

I do the same thing, but use Tiny Media Manger to generate the NFO…

What is the bug?

The tt0048424 is the IMDB id number,

I had problems with the poster when it was a -poster so mine just have the .jpg

do you have the XBMCnfoMoviesImporter selected for the movie library?

When did you last update the .nfo importer agent?

I recommend you to simply use the default Plex Movie agent.
You can enable the .nfo importer as an additional data source, so Plex movie can “fall back” on it.

I disabled all Plex scans… It takes Plex 14 hours just to scan the movie library…
With the importer its down a few hours, and it makes all my servers identical something the Plex scans never did.

It also enables me to use a media manager that works…

I just tested with only .jpg
same problem

here are the settings

I tested with all possible combinations of agents …
and even default Plex Movie agent. + xbmc iporter idem

how can we reset the plex zero conf config?

I do not know what to do …

I’ve noticed with Version 1.16.2.1321 that not all metadata is picked up by Plex.
Not sure why, but if I have Plex refresh media metadata it doesn’t get all the changes.
It takes many refreshes… That may be part of the problem here…

When I have some time I’ll post my configurations…
