Server Version#: 1.23.0.4497
Got a notification of an update available for my plex server. Clicked on settings → General and then clicked download and then install once it had downloaded and it looks like its installing but then when the server comes back up it is still showing the same version as above and that there is an available update???
@elan are you guys aware of this and is there a fix/workaround?

you wrote your text in a way that makes it seem like it’s a problem occurring to everyone. Which means a topic for your specific problem will probably already exist. If you checked there are no open threads and you tried all the normal troubleshooting (restarting PMS, restarting the OS, manual install), then it is a new, yet unknown issue. Which always starts with a log, cause that’s the only way we can figure out what’s happening, or in this case, not happening.
Also Elan is in his office drinking coffee and working out some obscure numbers, which means he’ll not look into the forums any time soon

I haven’t had much time to look into it as I’ve got users watching live TV content most of the day. Just wondering if anyone else had seen this issue or if it’s specific to my server. I’ll be looking at it in deeper detail later but didn’t want to be taking my server offline if it was a known issue.
I was also rather hung over so my concentration wasn’t that great earlier lol
Restarting PMS didnt work. tried doing the update from my laptop and directly on the server itself and neither worked. downloaded the installer and ran that. installer seems to have worked. First time I’ve had to do a manual install for an update as they normally work fine.
