Not sure if this the right place to ask. I’m a happy Plex Pass user for a while now. And while I frequently use Plexamp on my Android devices, I still fall back to MusicBee on my main PC that I work on.
One reason for that is the missing differentiation/implementation of the Original vs Release Year tag as used by MusicBrainz. Given that you connect to MB for identifying releases anyway, I assume it is doable (…and was already mentioned in other forum requests). In, Plex(amp), what I end up with for artists where I have multiple releases (SACD, CD, MQA, Vinyl Rips) is an incoherent overview of albums instead of a chronological list of the same album by Original and then Release Year.
On top, a “Multiple Releases per album” feature akin to Roon would be the icing on the cake. Would be great if that could be implemented even if it’s probably a fringe use case.
