Update on Plexamp maximum playlist limit when downloading?

From numerous other discussions, the limit was first 24 hours of downloaded music, then they “graciously” raised it to 72 hours. It’s been at 72 hours for years while they address some kind of phantom issue that they won’t explain.

I have numerous playlists that are more like sub-libraries based on moods, one of which has 5-6 days’ worth of music. I’m not concerned about visualizing all of the tracks in Plexamp, I just want to be able to download the playlists. The playlists themselves support this, so why does the fact that it’s downloaded or not matter - in 2026?

Agreed. I’ve got a large playlist (beyond 72 hours) that I want to download and shuffle. As long as there’s storage space, PlexAmp should allow downloading more than 72 hours.

I think it would make sense for Plexamp to match the standard Spotify set for maximum songs in a playlist which is 10000. Alot of apps allow you to import playlists from different services like Spotify so it he dissapointing transferring a playlist and finding out the limit.
