After updating my Panasonic OLED, there is only 720p streaming at 4 mbit/s…
Before that, there was never a problem to stream at 4k with full bandwidth!!!
Now i’ve had to buy a new apple tv to stream 4k content, that’s absolutely not o.k…

I’ve got a Panasonic TX-49HX940 which is supported according to this page Since a few weeks the App on TV has this state: “Plex for Smart TVs” Ver. 5.75.1
Hence I cannot scale anymore to a convenient Video-quality, it is limited to: 4 Mbps / 720p
Panasonic-Support do not support, they are not responsible for configuration of that App. And @ Plex I am not able to create a Incident for Investigation 
Do you guys know a possibility to downgrade the App or enforce “pacing” to previous Panasonic-config (which allows 4k, high bandwith, etc.)
Connecting a FireStick, or other third party device is not practical - the app can actually do 4k at >= 20 Mbps. Is this deliberate obsolescence on the part of Plex?

It is explicitly listed under the header “Devices with Limited Playback Capabilities”.

You could be right: Under the heading “Devices with Limited Playback Capabilities” then follows 2/3 of the manufacturers/devices. Or interpreted differently: All listed or supported Panasonic devices can “Limited Playback”! Hardware-wise with the “old” app of course more, but this is no longer offered or has been downgraded
But why this artificial downgrade? Until a few weeks ago, 4k at over 20Mbps was no problem.
According to Panasonic support, Plex has obviously changed the config, Panasonic itself does not take care of its apps / versioning / upgrade.
The engine of my car does not receive software-downgrade of the engine regarding HP, just because it older than 10 years 
I would be very happy to hear a reasonable explanation
