I’m trying to update Plex Server running on Raspbian.
I get the following error:
sudo dpkg -i plexmediaserver_1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45_armhf.deb
dpkg: regarding plexmediaserver_1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45_armhf.deb containing plexmediaserver:
plexmediaserver-installer conflicts with plexmediaserver (>= 1.13.6)
plexmediaserver (version 1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45) is to be installed.
dpkg: error processing archive plexmediaserver_1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45_armhf.deb (–install):
conflicting packages - not installing plexmediaserver
Errors were encountered while processing:
plexmediaserver_1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45_armhf.deb
anyone know why?
So the package downloaded from plex.tv is perhaps conflicting with what’s available in Debain repo (from where I installed).
Is there any way of backing up all Plex settings, if a reinstall is necessary?
For future reference, the migration is described at the usual place 
system
