Updated to Plex Pass - want to create music library - but can't find music (have 65,000 tracks)

I had my music in a library. As I upgraded to Plex Pass, I decided to delete the library and install it again in order to benefit from the PP advantages.
When I add my folders, I only get the highest folder level given, the rest I have to type in myself.
As I have quite a few files, I’ve organised as Music/{first letter of artist}/Artist Name/Artist Name - year - album.
The tags are embedded and complete (have maintained my music with MediaMonkey).

My Plex server is on a Synology.
Can Plex read Flac files?
Is there anything I did wrong?

Forgot to add my proper problem: When I add the music folders, I (almost immediately) get the message that there is no music to be found in my library (There are no items in this library).
Is the structure the issue? Before going for the Plex Pass, it wasn’t an issue (structure hasn’t changed).

Thanks

The problem seems to be that I can’t drill down in that folder (other folders like TV or Movies are fine)

That sounds like a permission issue, so I would start there. A helpful tip would also be to not add all of those 65k music tracks in one swoop. Add a few K at the time and let them be found, fingerprinted and so forth. Your NAS might choke otherwise (CPU).

Thanks Peter, initially (before switching to the Plex Pass) I had all the 65k on it, but even adding one folder at a time doesn’t work.
I modified the permissions (even though they seemed the same as on my video folders) and it now seems to work. Should’ve thought of that sooner

Those of us with Synology boxes have to keep the processor limitations in mind.

Expanding on Peter’s suggestion, they key thing to do after adding a chunk is to Optimize the Database. It recreates a balanced database structure internally. When unbalanced, the Synology’s CPU can’t run through the DB fast enough to satisfy timeout conditions. When it starts timing out, the first thing we see is a non-responsive system.

And to further add some detail: The Premium Music library only works successfully with a
Artist / Album / Tracks folder structure.
Meaning: If you don’t organise your music ‘By Album’ but have rather large ‘collection’ folders with several dozen (or more!) tracks in it, the premium metadata search may “time out”.

Tip!: When using a Premium music library, we strongly encourage you to continue organizing tracks into albums. Using a flat file list of tracks can result in the sonic fingerprinting erroring out.
