In the past, when I installed a Plex Server update, the server would restart at the end of the process. With the past several updates, this is no longer happening. Is this intentional, or oversight?
Yes. This is intentional.
The installer, being part of the OS, has no knowledge of PMS activity.
It was therefore decided to let the system admin perform the two steps together.
it can be automated easily enough.
