Upgrade to DSM 7

Finally willing to upgrade from DSM 6 to 7
I have an 1019+

Is there anything I should do prior to running the upgrade? Is there a step by step in the forum somewhere I can follow? I do have a complete backup of all my files on the NAS.

MAJOR CAUTION:

1. Uninstall PMS before the upgrade.
2. If you don’t, then DO NOT click ‘Repair’ during the DSM upgrade. Uninstall the app the install the DSM 7 package.

Hi, just for clarity, do you mean uninstall PMS in DSM 6 then migrate to DSM 7 and then re-install PMS?

Be Patient with it. There’s a lot for it to do and the Syno’s are not fast

DO NOT refresh the page while it’s Installing.

Migration.log, in a new browser tab, in the Plex shared folder will allow you to see where it’s at.
