Upgrade to Lifetime / New Account

Hi

I currently subscribe monthly through iTunes. When I try to upgrade to a lifetime pass, I don’t see the option. The Plex support pages state to cancel my subscription, then re-join through Plex, then I can switch to life.

Can I just create a new account, subscribe to lifetime, and reclaim my current server? I don’t want to have to start my library again.

Not sure what the quickest/best option is.

Clear your Browser cache and log out and log back in

Thanks, but that won’t work. It’s a known issue that you can’t upgrade if you subscribe via iTunes.

I think it means that you cannot buy a lifetime “subscription” via iTunes.
If you let your current subscription run out and then go directly to https://plex.tv/subscription you can buy your lifetime there.
