Does anyone know of any USB audio cards that are compatible with rasplex?
The sound currently goes through HDMI to my TV, but I’d like to be able to put music through my amp (which doesn’t have HDMI in), and I believe the audio jack on raspberry pi’s are meant to output at a low quality.
The hifiberry works for music (Not with videos) although there was some talk about it being included in a future release

Have you actually tried using the analogue out, on the RPi1 is was a bit ropey in the beginning but got better, the RPi2 was a big improvement.
The issue with USB DACs and GPIO DACs (HiFiBerry) are that at the moment the only play music audio, not audio from video soundtracks, although this is currently being worked on.

To be fair I tried using the audio out and it’s perfectly fine.
