Use Plex API to Schedule DVR Recordings

I found this post, but it only demonstrate a way to retrieve the current recordings. I was wondering if the Plex API also allows for the setting of DVR recordings. I’m hoping to use this to be able to “import” the DVR schedule. My thoughts are I retrieve the list and then parse/iterate through the list sending POSTs to the Plex API.

Is there any official API documentation publically accessible? It seems this post from a while ago never got answered and I have the same question now.
