Plex used to list your friends using their email addresses.
Then Plex changed it to Plex user names which were just random giberish based off users emails for the most part.
But at least you used to get a Pencil icon so you could put their real names back in. That seems to be gone now too. Is that correct? When did that get taken out?
You were never able to assign nicknames to other users – just for your own account.
There’s a feature suggestion asking for an option to assign nicknames how you’d like to see them showing up in your setup/account (e.g. they see themselves as “Pauline” and “Dave”, you see them as “Mom” and “Dad”…).
I must have been smoking shrooms then. I clearly remember being able to click a pencil icon and change their Plex user name to their real name.
