Server Version: 1.25.6.5577 (First had problem with 1.25.4.5487 but same still happening)
I’ve been using transparent background pictures for my users. On the settings page on Plex Web they always look weird because you see the default silhouette behind it, but on my players it always shows nicely with the background blurring out from the icon instead of the background. I just maybe 2 or 3 days ago changed the picture of one of my users & the new picture, with transparency, went up just like normal.
However today (2022-02-03) I replaced another one & instead of a transparent background it left a white background.
I thought maybe I had saved the image I just removed the background from with the “save background color” option checked but it was not. I tried re-saving it with a different name & had the same problem. I tried restarting the server & restarting the computer but the same issue afterwards. I tried editing a different profile & used the same image it had that was working properly, but saving also made it white background.
As far as I know there wasn’t an update in the last few days, there’s a new update from the 1st of February (1.25.5.5492-12f6b8c83) on the website, but I’m still on the older one so I assume it hasn’t updated in the last 2 days.
I’ve checked this like once a week since the start of February but it still happens.
Does anyone know if this was an intentional change or if others are having the same thing?
