I created a script that tags movies with “Netflix” if the movie already exists in Netflix, using Labels.
Problem is users, even Home users, can’t search using Labels and apparently only admin can search for labels.
Any ideias on how to overcome this? I could add the label Netflix as a collection, but with thousands of collections generated over time it’s not easy for users to filter using this.
Can’t movies really be filtered for Labels by users besides admin?
Labels as a filter is really just meant for just the admin to manage restrictions not for shared users to filter by that is why it is not there for them.
Yes, I understand it better now, they are Restriction Labels, so doesn’t make sense to make them public to the users.
I wish there was some other labeling option besides Collection more suited for this, like Networks or something.
I will probably just add it as a new Genre, and users will be able to filter by Netflix, Amazon, etc and be able to see it in movie info. Not the best approach but works in this case.
Studio is a tag.
But Studio isn’t a one to many tag, I would have to replace current value. It wouldn’t allow to add Amazon, Netflix, AppleTV tags at the same time.
