To see some of the advanced search options, click the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of any page, then click “Options.” This overlays on top of whatever page you are on, so as not to take you away from what you are currently viewing. The options included are the most commonly used search terms, however they are not an exhaustive list of available options. For a complete list, see the Search Terms section further below.
You can combine multiple search terms to refine your search results in a very exacting way. The URL provided in the results is a permalink and can be shared, bookmarked in your browser, or otherwise saved for future use. Here’s an example of how this works:
The following search returns posts about QNAP in topics that are open and which contain the iOS tag:
qnap tag:ios status:open
Permalink: https://forums.plex.tv/search?expanded=true&q=qnap%20tags%3Aios%20status%3Aopen

Searching for Employee Posts
Here are some examples for how you can combine search terms to search for posts made by employees.
Example A:
Searching for Plex employee posts about Roku:
tag: roku group: employees
(you could add a keyword to that or search without one)
Example B:
Search for Plex employee posts about both Windows PMS and Android mobile:
tags: server-windows+android-mobile group: employees
Example C:
Search for Plex employee posts in the Plex Media Server category:
category: plex-media-server group: employees
(you can also navigate to the category, check “search in…” and only add group: employees)
Searching for multiple tags by URL
Add intersection to the mix and you can search by multiple tags. Try this, or another combination of tags:
