You might want to read my earlier comments about why we have not already.
We also had some ideas about enabling the trailer applications within PlexConnect, which would be much better if it ever works. ;)
So looking at your earlier comment, crunchyroll seems to be available in all markets, DRM works on it, ( and I'm Not sure about new music implementation). And we wouldn't have to worry about enabling trailer apps within plexconnect on crunchyroll since they would automatically work as well now that the trailers.apple.com traffic isn't getting redirected :D. Sorry I just really like this idea and I'm a fan of the stock Trailers app.
They work for us, are you signed into your iTunes account on your ATV, if not maybe it is not authorised to play them.
yes i am sign in because if i go to the movie tab and click on them there they play fine. but if i go into my movie folder on plex and play the downloaded file it wont play. says cant play file. if i open that file with itunes it plays fine
Now not sure if this is the fix. Still more testing to do. But the Apple TV sleep problem I had before when on trailers is not happiness on Crunchyroll. So before on trailers when the ATV went to sleep and I woke it up u could not use trailer until u rebooted the ATV. so far on crunch I am not having that problem. Will test on the other ATV and let everyone know.
Well I even guess there are still ppl out there who pay apple/itunes to rent a movie if they don't have anything flying around, don't think thats a good idea tbh. The trailer name and icon does also irritate my girl, too, tbh.
I could ask what is this? but then again it would be obvious I don't have it. Proving the point really. WSJ would be ok, cause i do have that. However everyone has trailers...
So use trailers and make a new trailers app within plexconnect doesn't sound bad to me. Plexconnect is going to be my "Portal" anyway

You have to have the newest firmware in order to see Crunchyroll

Not sure. But when you go to use it. It says crunchyroll not available. When you watch the termail and what happens i don't think it uses appaction.js anymore
Yes, CrunchyRoll no longer seems to work. The terminal says "www.crunchyroll.com... *intercepted*". But then there are several more requests to assets on apple.com, and the CrunchyRoll app on the ATV just says "crunchyroll not available".
I wonder if Apple implemented some sort of validation (the subsequent requests to apple.com, after the initial request to cruncyroll.com) to insure the CR content is actually coming from crunchyroll. Or maybe that's just me being paranoid.
Sure would love to get CrunchyRoll going again. I, personally, love using the real Trailers app for what it's intended, and would hate to give it up.
Oh good. I mean bad.
I thought it was just me.
