I occasionally like using the Trailers app, however after the recent update I have a Sky News app on mine.
How would I go about finding out the details for that one so I can use that instead of the Trailers app?
Some guy on youtube has posted details on how to use the cruncyroll app instead of trailers, you could give that a try.

He has a google doc in the description with instructions on what changes to make. I'm hoping that we'll soon add the ability to choose which app to hijack as a setting in PlexConnect. Just remember that you'll need to make these changes every time you grab a new version of PlexConnect from github, until it can be added as an option inside PlexConnect.
Btw you may run into issues trying to use any of the apps as some do not use XML, some will not play DRM files, some may not have a media player, etc, etc

Because PlexConnect hijacks the Apple trailers URL so that channel does not work.
You can also use the IMDB trailers app from the Unsupported AppStore (search in Plex forum for i.) which works nicely in Plexconnect.
I use HD Trailers, it’s an official plex plugin and works very well, it also has multiple trailers for each movie just like the apple native trailer app.

There's a Russian TV service that hijacks the trailers app for live TV, so this way you can set up PlexConnect on some other app and forward all other requests to the Russian service DNS and have both without constantly switching DNS in Apple TV.
