Quick question.
We use the HDHR for OTA channels locally and I want to emulate another tuner for my IPTV service playlist. I can get the channels to show up after emulating a scan, but it tries on the second tuner to use the OTA guide instead. Is there a way to us two different guide types? (one OTA guide and one Directv or cable)?
No. All tuners must be of the same type. Plex covers this in the Frequently Asked Questions Page:

Can I add more than one DVR tuner?
Multiple tuners can be added from within the Plex Web app, provided you are using version 2.10.5 or newer. Tuners should be of the same type; all OTA or all cable, on the same Plex Media Server.

well that is unfortunate, but i’m guessing there is a limitation to the guide part of PLEX live TV?
I setup a second server to get around the issue.
