Using Sonically Similar Feature

I have to share this with our community (please move this to an area that might get better exposure if you think it is worth it)

I was exploring options in my Plexamp app and clicked on the “insert a sonically similar song after each track” option, it has changed my life! I have a very extensive music library and I noticed even when I shuffle the entire library I end up hearing the same few hundred songs all the time. Well, that is not the case now. Once I selected this option, and I shuffle my library, it is playing songs I’ve NEVER EVEN HEARD BEFORE, in a library I’ve had forever. Try it, explore it, you’ll love it!!!

Glad you’re enjoying the feature (I think you’re referring to DJ Gemini of the guest DJs)!

This is exactly the sort of thing we wanted to allow people to do, discover new things inside their own libraries. Really feels great.

(It’s also fun to use that DJ on playlists, like your top-rated tracks, or something like that.)

Try Deep Tracks Radio, then enable DJ Stretch.
