Utilizing Intel Quick Sync on iMac running PMS?

Hi!
I’m just wondering if PMS is able to utilize Intel Quick Sync when running on a iMac? The iMac has a i5-7500 with Intel HD630 iGPU but also the AMD Radeon Pro 570 dedicated GPU. I know that the QSV is very capable of transcoding video, but perhaps the AMD is better?

Thank you for your answer! I read that but didn’t fint much macOS related information. Or I’m dumb… :wink: The last section mentioned VideoToolBox, does that mean that it uses QSV if possible?

IIRC Apple’s VideoToolBox is basically an API that abstracts the access to the GPU, using QSV or a discrete GPU as available and fit for the job.
