Hello I tried to install my new VBox TV Gateway.
It works with its own software, everything works fine but I cannot add it in DVR Setup in Plex Server. I put the address manually also but still got this error:
There was a problem adding the device: 192.168.1.30
Is there something else that should be done in the Plex Server to add this Vbox Device in Plex? Can some one suggest me what to do.

there is the HDHomeRun device reference there that makes me wander if the VBox support was released or not just yet
Same here. Nothing from autodetect and that error if I give the IP, or even IP:port. @Plex Team… it’s been announced as available NOW and it’s on your list of supported tuners; how do we make it work?
VBox firmware 2.59, Plex server 1.13.8. Plex rebooted after updating to the latest version; VBox has been ok on 2.59 for a couple of months now.
Same issue here. Have updated both devices.

The Plex team have replied on my other thread - DVR VBox support... allegedly ; worth following that for updates.

Sorry for the delay. We’ve been in contact with vBox as well over the last day. While vBox announced Plex support on the 13th, it appears that they have not yet made the Plex enabled build available. We’re attempting to get an update from them now.
We hope we will get this update soon…
It is better to remove the Vbox from the supported devices till then, because I bought VBox because I saw it is supported by Plex Media Server.
