Hi, I have a VBOX DTV box, it is like an HDHomerun type of box and it would be nice to have support for it in the DVR functionality.
The API is not bad and the people from VBOX answer technical question quite fast. I did a Serviio plugin for it and they helped me.

+1 Just cancelled my Plex Pass due to lack of support for VBox. Emby at least lets you add an m3u playlist from the VBox and as such works fine.
Tried a 3rd party proxy to present the vbox as an HDHomerun and while it was partially successful it wasn’t reliable enough, so back to Emby until Plex supports VBox and then I may revisit…

For Vbox to work well with Plex it needs a Plex Media Server App for Android TV. Otherwise you need a computer to use as a server (that is always on), and if you use the Vbox as as set-top-box the data needs to go back and forth between Vbox and computer so doesn’t work for me.
I won’t pay for the plex pass just to have a better TV guide when watching on my computer.
Also the Plex App on my Vbox can’t find videos on the local USB stick so it can’t be used just as a media player.
