Version 1.26.0.5715 getting lots of buffering problems

Server Version#: Version 1.26.0.5715
Player Version#: Version 4.86.1
I am trying to understand why i am getting so many buffering issues. It will play 5-10 minutes then sit and spin … then play 5-10 mins then the same. Some time the wait is quite long OR i have to stop the play then resume.
I have rebooted the server. This has been happening the last several weeks … .until then it would play well. Don’t know of any changes to system except for adding more movies/tv eps.
Thoughts on what could be causing this is appreciated.

1.26.0.5715 is probably 20 versions several months old by now. Either way you would probably need to post logs from the client and/or server to have any chance of somebody looking into it. Honestly, sounds more like a client issue than a server issue, I would start there.

Thanks … i will look into the client but haven’t noticed any other slowing on it. I will search on how to make a log

Also you would then want to start a new thread in the correct client forum. For example, this is Android TV:

If it’s a Roku or Apple TV or something check the help page for how to get logs for those and then look for the right forum. Hope this helps.

Just as a note I want to report that upgrading to the current release seems to have corrected the issue. Thanks for the notes
