On a Mac. Updating made me lose all art work and no amount of refreshing meta data will enable it to show. I have turned off all the Plex suggested artwork mess they try to push. I literally just want Plex to look at my files, my meta data, my art work. All files have up to date artwork that works with Plex (was working yesterday) now and is often the case after a Plex server update I lose all my art work.
Is there anyway to get 1) the people who make these updates to check before release. 2. a way to fix the current problem? 3 a specific set of things to hunt down and restore from my Time Machine back up to get my Plex working again?
Art work was 1. working yesterday on Plex. 2. it shows on iTunes/ Music Brains Picard/ Finder. IT’s definitely there! The only time Art work does not show is with Plex after a server update! Also how can I turn off completely this bloody annoying Plex media artwork I’ve turned it off everywhere but it’s like malware and it sneaks in to destroy people’s servers. It wouldn’t be so bad if Plex got it right. But I’ve never ever ever had Plex auto fill correct artwork (despite me following all the correct folder structure and naming paths for all my music and audiobooks) Plex never gets it right so I would love to turn off this annoying BS about it thinking it knows the artwork better than me. Plex is never right
5 minutes later - Plex has made it worse.
comparing to the first image. Plex is inserting artwork it thinks should be there. How can it get that close and still miss so far!?
