Plex is awesome!
+1 this has now become my major platform for watching stuff. I've got one or two big 1080p files with DTS that have a little trouble playing back, but that is mostly because of the transcoding so that should settle once mkv support gets plugged in. I payed for the lifetime subscription and am very happy!
The Plex app for the XB1 is the best experience of Plex that I've encountered. The app is amazing and I'm grateful that the team let us begin to use it now. It's also amazing how easy it is for others to use. I bought the $40 subscription and then let my wife play around with it before telling her. She was very impressed. I then told her the cost to upgrade to the lifetime and her response: "Upgrade". She absolutely loves this app and so do I!
So you contribute 2 cents and you think you get to say whatever you want. Typical.

It's called an opinion. I was not offensive to anyone in what I said, or the manner it was said. I'll sure as hell continue saying whatever I want. I'll also continue doing so in the respect of others, like I've always done.

I would also like to add I am very happy with this App. Yes, there are a few things missing and a few bugs but for a first release is pretty good. I think the look and feel is very well done, especially the different categories movies are grouped into.
Top of my wish list from enhancements are:-
1. The ability to cast to the player on the Xbox ( if possible).
2. The ability to stretch / zoom the picture, like you can from Rasplex, to reduce the effects of Letter-boxing.

+1 Agreed, the App works great so far!

The "/s" at the end of my post denotes sarcasm.. relax.
My Roku got demoted to the Kids room as soon as Plex came out for Xbone. Happy :)
I bit the bullet and re-assigned my media pc to another room for another purpose.
Sure the Plex app is not at full power and has some quirks but I can watch my content, and I will enjoy the new features as they arrive.
For me not switching sources of my tuner etch is enough joy, the system just got a lot simpler
They less hardware I need the better, even if that means that I suffer some bugs.
I love Plex finally a solution that is available on all my devices*
*Xbox 360 coming
Hardly much joy when you look at this forum, and it saddens me somewhat, for all those that have worked hard and are still working on it.
Regardless who started talking about developing it, and who ended up developing it. It's here, and we can use it, and well, it's f&*^ing great.
Ive been using plex for years, its part of the reason I switched from a PC to a Mac and never looked back.As soon as Plex Pass came out I didn't hesitate to pay for a lifetime, I've bought pretty much every device plex could be played on, from the Raspberry Pi,Chromecast, Roku,Fire Tv, Apple TV, and its even the reason I bought a Samsung TV and here we are today, its on my favourite console in the front room, and I can talk to it.
Using the app since launch, and I'm loving it, its played everything that I have had to offer it. Its snaps, it resumes, and well it really awesome. If your not a fan with your voice, go and get the media remote, its not expensive, and even illuminates in the dark. Yes, there is a few little bugs here and there,Yes it looks a bit different to the other apps, but it looks like an xbox app.
To all those that are having problems, hang in there, you will fix them and if you can't,like every other version of plex server and plex player, thats on every other great device, the devs will fix it, or the community will help fix them with some great constructive feedback. They always do,it's always around the corner, and it's early days for a great future on Xbox ahead.
So on behalf of everyone thats been having a great time with the app, we thank you in plex developer land for all your work, and your continued work.
are you dreaming for 6 months a try to fixed a problem no one care PLEX his a very big joke to many complaint and they explanation are useless.
