I had purchased Flex App on Android years ago and never used it because I have been pretty happy with Google’s services. Now with GPM replaced with the pretty awful You Tube music and unlimited storage going away in Google Photos, I decided to purchase Plex Pass Lifetime. Unfortunately, I didn’t actually use the app. Just went on the reputation.
I’m surprised that the most basic slideshow features are missing in an app that’s been around for so long. I can’t play music and I can’t see the EXIF tags as the photos fly past. And I mean fly past because I can’t see any way to configure the delay between photos.
I see a number of requests for this. And they have been made for years and eventually closed. I’d have thought that a slideshow would have been one of the cornerstones of a media player. I used to do all this with JAlbum 20 years ago.
