I’m thinking about switching my Plex server from Windows 10 because my MOBO lacks TPM support to upgrade it to win11.
One of the software tools I use is MCE Buddy to automatically cut advert breaks from recorded TV shows and re encode them to a compressed video file (H.265 MP4)
Is there any programs that run native in Linux that would do the same thing?
I also Have limited experience with Linux but have heard its possible to get some window programs to run with WINE. Not sure if anyone has tied that or if its possible.
It seems like there are replacements for Exact Audio Copy and other programs I use to curate my media like handBrake and MakeMKV exist in Linux versions already, MCE Buddy is the only one I’m not sure how I would replace.
