Hi

Using Plex on Shield TV pro

When playing a MKV file I got a small windows. I have a 4K TV, why the video is not enlarge? When using KODI it plays correctly.

Try this. While playing the video, select the playback settings by clicking the three vertical dots at the bottom-right after pressing down on the remote. In the playback settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and set Display Mode to anything other than original (Letterbox or Stretch work well in most cases). “Original” means something different in Plex than it does in most players (original resolution vs. original aspect ratio).

It means original resolution (instead of original aspect ratio). You can ignore that part of my comment. They main idea I was trying to convey is that you should pick Letterbox (or Stretch).

In that case who is doing the Upscaling? Plex?

I would like to have Shield doing the upscaling to 4K and not Plex
